How to become a member of the DGS
  • Everybody who is active in the field of semiotics can become an active member
  • Everybody who supports the aims of the DGS in a non-material and financial way can become a supporting member

The executive committee decides upon the admission of new members. 

The annual contribution is EUR 58 and is debited from your account at the beginning of the year. Student members (upon submission of student ID) pay an annual amount of EUR 38. 

DGS members outside Germany are to transfer the annual sum of EUR 70 (students EUR 50) o n  t h e i r  o w n  i n i t i a t i v e to the DGS account at  the Bremer Landesbank in Oldenburg (account number 301 262 400 1, sort code BLZ 290 500 00).

The cost of the "Zeitschrift für Semiotik" is included in the contribution. Editions from previous years can be ordered directly from:
